Decorating materials supplier Decorare approached Alloneword to help them build a new brand and website that the great island of Jersey could be proud of, and we were more than happy to oblige.
Decorare wanted us to help map their entire digital and brand offering, with the main aim of showing potential customers that while they are the new kids on the block, they are a brand and service to be relied upon by builders, contractors and tradespeople. Working with Alloneword, we helped first to define the brand, then produce printed collateral, before finally moving onto the Shopify website, all within two months.
Building a Brand Jersey Can Trust
Decorare Jersey offer a friendly service, knowledgeable advice together with good old-fashioned values, and they wanted a new brand to reflect that. Working closely with owners Paul and Debbie, we spent time understanding their new business, its USPs, and desired aesthetic, and worked that into a new logomark, colour palette and typography ruleset that all feel established, trustworthy and modern.Start a project like this
A Trade Website for Tradespeople
While Decorare do offer services and products for the end consumer, and that’s a healthy part of their business, where their focus is is to the tradespeople, turning them from a customer into a brand loyal client.
Utilising a Shopify theme as a baseplate, we helped apply the new brand, style the theme to best suit their demographic, and gave full training and support (as this was their first ever website, let alone an e-commerce one).
“Working with Paul and Debbie as another husband and wife team is so enjoyable, as our businesses are so similar in that way. Decorare is a perfect example of why we enjoy working with small businesses so much, and we always enjoy catching up with them.”
